The program provides a structured yet flexible mentoring model, allowing you to engage through one-on-one and small group sessions, supported by clear objectives and defined milestones.

Participation as a mentor enhances your leadership presence, communication, and coaching skills while increasing your visibility and professional recognition within SELA. Mentors benefit from meaningful networking with fellow professionals, exposure to emerging talent, and the personal fulfillment that comes from guiding future leaders. Your engagement directly contributes to students’ career clarity and readiness, with the Mentorship Phase running from March (career direction) through April (career readiness), leading up to Career Day. Description: The Duke Global Policy Program on AI, Critical Infrastructure, and Environmental Sustainability examines how artificial intelligence is transforming national resilience and driving innovation, while simultaneously introducing new risks and increasing energy and water consumption. The program empowers participants to craft forward-looking policies that balance technological advancement with security imperatives and sustainable development objectives. By integrating insights from technology, governance, and environmental stewardship, the initiative prepares leaders to navigate complex challenges and design strategies that foster innovation without compromising resilience or sustainability.
Who Should Register:
  • Governmental and private sector professionals
  • 5–15 years of experience and oversee data or AI initiatives or are involved in implementing data or AI programs.

Description: The Public Leadership Executive Program offers executives the opportunity to be part of the transformational learning journey that uniqluy combines the domains of public policy and leadership. The program helps participants gain a deeper understanding of the public policy making process, frameworks and tools. It also builds a strong foundation in the management and leadership skills necessary to formulate and implement public policies effectively. Approval from your entity is REQUIRED -------------- The program is organized into five modules that will be delivered in concentrated sessions throughout the year at the KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) in partnership with the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and the Hertie School of Public Policy.
